Template:PortalSEEselection

This template is used within Portal:South East England to select content at random from one of the subportals. The template takes two parameters, aportal and selectedthing:

• aportal is the name of a subportal of Portal:South East England - just the name of the county. This is usually generated using Template:PortalSEERandomSubportal.
• selectedthing is a choice of: article, picture or biography.

Note that the template includes the standard Portal:South East England section header and footer.

Example usage:

{{PortalSEEselection|selectedthing=picture|aportal=West Sussex}} will generate a selected picture from the West Sussex portal.

Dependencies

The template relies on the subportal at Portal:aportal using the standard Box portal skeleton, with random article/picture/biography selection. In addition, the maximum value for each random item should be stored in a page of its own at Portal:aportal/Selected selectedthing/max.
