- Ruby Helen Wigg's birth is not hard to place - she was born at her parent's home. Her husband is quite another stroy. His birth registration is located in South Australia, but it says that he was born in Hamilton, VIC. But, in a newspaper report of the day, we find a mention of his birth having occurred "at Whitmore Terrace, North Adelaide, to Mr & Mrs Colin MacAulay of Hamilton, VIC."
Her marriage to Aulay MacAulay was also mentioned in the papers of the day - "31 Dec 1910 - St Peters College Chapel - Babington Aulay Macaulay, only son of the late Colin of India to Ruby Helen Wigg, elder daughter of F.H. Wigg and Mrs. Julia Wigg."
